VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

VBS 2008 ROCKS!

We want to thank everyone who participated in, volunteered, and planned for the Beach Party VBS 2008!  We 'surfed through the scriptures' with about 55 to 60 kids daily June 9-13 and had 35+ youth and adult volunteers.  Through our Daily Assembly, Music, Mission, Crafts, Recreation, Science Discovery, Storytelling and Snack Time, we learned about the daily "Be-Attitudes"; Be Obedient, Be Kind, Be Forgiving, Be Bold, and Believe.

Thanks also to Healthy Approach and Albertson's for their generous gift card donations to purchase snacks and other supplies.

We were flooded with donations for Feed Our Kids, Project Read, and the SLAB.  These missions will appreciate our gifts during their time of great need in the summer.

We offer a huge thank you to all that contributed to the VBS missions.

What a way to kick off the summer!

GENERAL NEWS

Thank-you

Words cannot express how much we appreciate the money and the bill folds. You guys are the most amazing people and we don’t know what we would do without ya’ll as our church family. Thank you for putting up with all of our teenage drama and the many cell phone interruptions during sermons. You guys have been so inspirational in our spiritual and emotional growth. We will take the many lessons that we have learned out into the next chapter in our lives. We will never forget Heritage United Methodist Church, we love you guys so much.

Sincerely,

Payton Carter and Andrew Hudson
